Certificate
SiteGuard can detect several problems with your certificate. This documentation explains these checks.
Check frequency
Certificate checks run every ten minutes. Every time we run a check, we look for the following problems.
Certificate expired
One of the first things we verify is the certificate expiration date. If the certificate has already expired or is due to expire within 14 days, we notify you every twelve hours. This check is performed for every certificate in the certificate chain.
Wrong host
Certificates are only valid for specific hosts. We check if the certificate contains the domain of your site. You will be notified every twelve hours as soon as the certificate is invalid. This check is performed for the host certificate only.
Other checks
Self signed certificate
Unsecure hashing algorithm
Missing certificate chain
