SiteGuard measures the performance of your website.

Performance metrics

We measure the following metrics while running performance checks:

• DNS lookup time: The time it takes to resolve your domain name into an ip address

• TCP connection time: The time it takes for the three-way-handshake to connect to the server

• TLS connection time: The time it takes to establish a tls connection

• Time to first byte: The time it takes until the server sends the first byte of the website

• Total response time: The total time from start to end
